This is a famous painting. And is actually not only of my son when he was 6 years old (who looked like Daniel Morkham) but also the beginning of my Portraiture.
The idea of One Day....symbolises how I felt as a child, looking over the fence with such longing at the horses. (see the saddle over the fence) and thinking ' i will have my own horse one day.'
I ended up having horses all my adult life!

But I have been told I always have a little spirit girl with me.
